Alameda Restaurant Week! Time to tantalize your taste buds with unique dishes and libations created by talented chefs, brewers, and mixologists!
Has it already been a week since my first column? Gosh, the week goes by so quickly when you’re learning the inner workings of this district, and meeting all sorts of nice folks.
As we get to know each other, you’ll come to learn, and appreciate I LOVE food. I love cooking it, eating it, sharing it, and discussing it. Given its import, you can imagine how elated I am Alameda Restaurant Week is almost here.
From March 1st to 10th, Alamedans and visitors alike, will be grabbing their elastic waist band pants and checking out some of Alameda’s finest culinary faire.
WABA restaurants include Ceron Kitchen, East Ocean Alameda, Fireside Lounge, Cafe Jolie, Donut Petit, Calfia Taqueria, and Macondo Colombian Fusion. Click here for a complete list of restaurants, raffles and general information.
The deadline to register was February 15th, BUT if you’d still like to participate, please contact Jennifer Padilla at the City of Alameda ASAP at jpadilla@alamedaca.gov or 510-747-6852.
Over the next few months, we’ll be unveiling WABA’s new web site. We’re looking for photos of district businesses, events, visitors, locals, and just about anything that highlights what makes West End Business District special and unique. If you have something you’d like to share, please send them to elissa@westalamedabusiness.com. Don’t forget to let us know who we should credit.
Have a wonderful weekend, filled with crowded shops, full bars and lots of happy customers.
